Black Fog Rising. Julie Sass

This book features 13 heliographs and 4 lithographs produced by the abstract painter Julie Sass in collaboration with Steinprent in the Faroe Islands. They are accompanied by 8 poetic texts written by the artist herself.

The book showcases the work of Julie Sass in a format in which image and word are allowed to interplay and supplement each other, without the word taking precedence of the image. Given pride of place, the sequence of images is given space to speak in terms of form and colour, in the particular language of the images which have been beautifully reproduced by Steinprent.

The book has been produced in 100 copies, numbered and signed by the artist.
